Thanks to your help, record breaking support in Senate letter!

Thanks to hundreds of activists and supporters of the International Affairs Budget, 33 Senators signed a letter sponsored by Senators Lugar and Feinstein in support of full funding allocations for the FY2005 International Affairs Budget.

Often, legislators are not willing to sign letters during the "appropriations process". The fact that 33 Senators signed such a letter about the International Affairs Budget is significant. Without adequate funding at this stage of the budget process key programs that may be of particular interest to you will be less likely to be fully funded as spending deliberations continue.

Both Senators from Washington signed the letter:
Senator Maria Cantwell
Senator Patty Murray

Please go their website at http://www.senate.gov/ and thank your Senators for their unwavering support for the FY2005 International Affairs Budget.
