Volunteer Opportunities

The Washington State Coalition for International Education has many volunteer opportunities.

What You Can Do

  1. Grow the Coalition
Help us contact organizations that would like to be part of the Coalition. There's no cost to joining -- we just list the website on our Contacts page and ask a representative to fill out the Get Involved Form so we have a contact person on our mailing list. We have an Outreach Committee you could join.

  2. Gather news for E-Newsletters
We send these out twice a month. We could use help gathering the news to include in them. See the News Room for examples.

  3. Develop our Resource Links
We have minimal links right now on the various Resource pages. We could expand into any area of interest, adding resources for Social Studies, World Languages, Exchanges, Arts, and so on.

  4. Help with Specific Projects
For example, we're planning to expand the World Language Survey. That will take some coordination, outreach, data analysis, and presentation drafting. Check the Projects page for a current list of projects.

  5. Work on PR for the Coalition
This could be anything from drafting press releases (see example) to creating displays for us to take to conferences or manning tables at conferences.
