Exchanges

Real and "virtual" exchanges via the Internet are a valuable way to make global connections. Here are just a few resources to support exchanges of people and ideas. (Note: a listing here does not constitute an endorsement by the Coalition.)

Student Exchanges

Teacher Exchanges

  • Fulbright Exchanges
The Fulbright Teacher and Administrator Exchange arranges direct classroom exchanges for teachers of all levels. We also offer six-week observation exchanges for administrators in more than a dozen countries and eight-week classical seminars in Italy and Greece. The annual application deadline is October 15 for the following year's program.

Virtual Exchanges

  • International Education & Resource Network
iEARN is a non-profit global network that enables young people to use the Internet and other new technologies to engage in collaborative educational projects that both enhance learning and make a difference in the world.
