Capitol Forum Timeline 2007

Here is the timeline leading up to the Capitol Forum on March 29, 2007.

Do pre-forum lesson with all students in the class(es). Teacher

Select 5 students, plus 1 alternate, to attend the Capitol Forum in Olympia. Teacher

 

By March 9

Provide background readings to selected students. Each student will be an “expert” in one of the five topics (Terrorism, Environment, Immigration, Trade, Proliferation), plus familiar with all 4 Futures. Teacher

Get signed media release forms from all attending students and bring them to Olympia. Teacher

Arrange for transportation to the State Capitol. Teacher
Ask for parent volunteers?

By March 27

Have students complete poster.
(Note: Any of the students can participate in developing the poster; make sure that the selected students are prepared to present it.)
