Coalition representatives are invited to the annual "Teacher of the Year" celebration at the Governor's Mansion on April 12. Status as of 2/28/2007Andrea Peterson has decided to use her scholarship to purchase African drums for her students. This should greatly enliven her music classroom! Status as of 12/28/2006Jennifer Geist and Michele Anciaux Aoki attended the Teacher of the Year announcement by OSPI at the Museum of Flight on October 10, 2006. The 2007 Washington State Teacher of the Year is Andrea Peterson from Monte Cristo Elementary in Granite Falls School District. We sent her the following award letter:
