Summary:
We revisited the focus and goals for the Summit, reviewed the
outreach we have done for the Summit, and worked out details of our room
layout, etc.
Some thoughts from those present about what would make them feel like
the Summit was a success:
- Commitment on part of government to provide leadership
- Participants will walk away inspired and with a real sense of where to
start
- Seeing teachers, students, legislators, businesses excited for
different reasons, yet with a similar sense of importance of
international education and what we might be able to do in Washington
State
- OSPI in greater leadership role
- Engaged discussion between Higher Ed and K-12
