Laura Adriance from the World Affairs Council just alerted the Coalition Steering Committee to the Global Education Conference coming in November. http://www.globaleducationconference.com/index.html The 2010 Global Education Conference will be held November 15 - 19, 2010, online and free. Sessions will be held in multiple time zones and multiple languages over the five days. This looks like something that Coalition member organizations might want to get involved with. When we launched the website http://internationaledwa.org in spring 2003, we gave birth to a public face for an entity that became known as the Washington State Coalition for International Education or the "Coalition" for short. Over the past seven years, a variety of individuals and organizations have paid key roles in advancing the mission of the Coalition -- to prepare all students for today's interconnected world -- while developing themselves into leaders in international education.
