When: Wednesday October 27, 2004
9:30 am - 5:00 pm; Reception 5:00 - 7:00 pm
Where: Olympia, WA Red Lion Hotel
2300 Evergreen Park Drive Olympia, WA 9850
Cost: $25 -- which includes one ticket to the Summit Luncheon featuring Bill Center from the Washington Council on International Trade and other business and educational perspectives. (There is also a plug-in fee of $25 if you need access to an electrical outlet.)
How it will work: The Resource Fair is intended to provide Summit participants with an opportunity to learn about and network with entities in Washington that support global education in this state. In addition to non-profit, government, business, and higher education, this year we hope to include examples and models of global education projects and/or resources from K-12 educators in the Resource Fair. We also encourage visual displays that incorporate project work and youth voice. We expect that most exhibitors will come in the morning and leave their displays up all day. There will be a number of opportunities during breaks, before and after the luncheon, and during the Reception (5:00-7:00) for participants to visit the displays and talk to representatives of the organization. We hope that you will be part of the Summit and participate in the large group and breakout sessions throughout the day. If space is available, you may be able to set up later in the day, for example, just before lunch or just before the Reception. Organizations that can come for the full day will be given first priority.
How to sign up: Complete the online
Summit Resource Fair Form.
(Note: After you sign up, we will send additional details about the
Resource Fair and an invoice for the $25 per person fee for the
luncheon.)
